- This pegboard is used to measure two types of dexterity
- Gross movements of hands, fingers and arms
- Finger-tip dexterity i.e. the ability to make rapid, skilful controlled movements of small objects where fingers are primarily involved
- The test is used in rehabilitation of patients e.g. Parkinson disease
- The test is also used for selecting adults for industrial jobs such as assembly, packing, operating certain machines and other manual jobs
- Made of white acrylic or wooden board with 25 pairs of holes drilled along the length of the board in the center
- Consists of reservoirs on the top of the board to store metal pins, washers, collars
